Mireth Technology Corp. announced today a new release of ShredIt X, its file shredder software for Mac OS X. ShredIt X version 5.8.4 is available as a software download or on CD-ROM, starting at $24.95 (US).

Version 5.8.4 adds support for DOE standard compliance.
