ESET Acquires Antispam Manufacturer

    DUBAI, UAE, May 25, 2010 /Security PR News/ -- ESET, a global provider of security solutions, announces the acquisition of COMDOM Software ̵ a Kosice-based software company acclaimed for antispam solutions. The latest acquisition underlines the company's strategy of solidifying its position as a premier developer of security software.

By making this acquisition, ESET is increasing its capacity for developing advanced security solutions. COMDOM Software is ESET's second acquisition since 2008 when it purchased a Czech-based company Setrnet, expanding its offering to information security services.

ESET has currently branch offices in Prague, Czech Republic; San Diego, U.S.A; Buenos Aires, Argentina. The recent acquisition reaffirms ESET's commitment to R&D and comes 2 years after the greenfiled investment into ESET development center in Krakow, Poland.
