IntelliAdmin, LLC releases USB Disabler

STERLING HEIGHTS, MI, June 22, 2011 /Security PR News/ -- IntelliAdmin, LLC has released USB Disabler, a software tool that allows you disable flash drives, and memory sticks.

Co-founder Steve Wiseman says, "This free tool will allow you to prevent USB flash drives from being used"

Many organizations such as banks and credit unions have employee policies in place that forbid the use of flash drives, but have no way of enforcing it.

Steve Wiseman Continued, "Unlike disabling the USB port in the BIOS, this allows you to still have access to USB based mice, keyboards, and printers"

The IntelliAdmin USB Disabler is designed for Windows XP, 2003, 2008, Vista, and Windows 7 - Including 64 bit versions. It is free for download from http://www.intelliadmin.com/index.php/downloads/

IntelliAdmin, LLC provides utilities for Windows, and Steve Wiseman blogs regularly about Windows administration issues.
