As CEO, President and Managing Partner of Phirelight for the past 10 years, Wayne has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Established in 2001, Phirelight. Phirelight is a networking security consulting firm which offers a unique combination of technology solutions, professional services and education to assist companies to measurably protect, monitor and manage important assets from the most critical threats.
Mr. Teeple is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations. He has over 20 years of experience between serving as a Communications and Electronics Officer for the Canadian Military and his work in the Information Technology Security industry. Wayne has served on various private and non-profit boards such as the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, and as the Past-President of the AFCEA Education Fund. He has also participated as a guest speaker for such organizations as the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation, Canadian National Defence, and AFCEA.
During his educational career, Wayne earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa in 1988. He also holds Executive MBA courses in Capital Markets as well as Mergers and Acquisitions from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and a Masters Certification in Project Management from the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University.
